Post-performance for the Spark! Alliance series, a program offered in conjunction with the Alzheimer's Association, at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Although there is no cure for Alzheimer's and related forms of dementia, there is the joy of sharing music with one another in community.

Congratulations to all my students and Jennifer Pauley's students for a great job joining musical forces for the second annual End-of-Summer Playdown! The sounds of guitars, flutes, and piano performing together was a great way to mark the beginning of fall.

Did you know Lorian Bartle is a Suzuki-trained guitar instructor? She has completed training for Suzuki Guitar Books 1 and 2 at the Colorado Suzuki Institute in Beaver Creek the past two summers and will complete Guitar Teaching Strategies and Suzuki Guitar Book 3 training this upcoming summer. This past weekend, students from Bartle Guitar Studio and from Jennifer Pauley's flute studio performed guitar, piano, and flute solo and ensemble music in three winter recital groups. A heartfelt thanks to all student performers for sharing their musical gifts and ushering in the holiday season with the sounds of beautiful music!
