Shirodhara is one of the treatments provided during Panchakarma (Ayurvedic detoxification). It is a subtle massage of the pineal and pituitary glands through a stream of warm oil poured on the third eye (Ajna marma, also 6th chakra). This beautiful treatment has tremendously tranquilizing effects, it helps people put thoughts in order, sleep better and achieve lasting relaxation.
