PSA!!!!!
Something I never leave home without?
TWEEZERS π«£
I have pairs if them everywhere, including my car!
Why?
The lighting seems to be better, and I like to be prepared for discovering unexpected surprise whiskers that have appeared overnight. Which is confusing because I don't understand how a single hair can grow that aggressively.
Mother nature is turly amazing π€©

Sometimes perimenopause sucksβI help you navigate the suck with compassion, expertise & a smile.
Heyyy π I'm Lisa Wessell, and I'm a women's health nurse practitioner. I help women navigate health changes with compassion, expertise & humor.
π I'm from Golden, Colorado, and I'm passionate about helping you navigate your health journey.
When I'm not working, you'll find me running, gardening, and spending time with my people.
A little about my journey:
β¨ Over the past 20 years, I've had the incredible opportunity to help women on their health journey. What started as getting my RN has grown into running my private practice and specializing in women's health.
π₯ My mission is to help women feel their best through personalized, holistic care. I believe you don't have to be sick to feel better, and I work every day to meet you where you are on your health journey, providing options that help you feel your best.
Some highlights from my journey:
π Certification as a North America Menopause Society (NAMS) Menopause Provider
π€ Speaking on panels, webinars, and workshops about women's health
π Launched my private practice in 2023
π¬ I am proud of my clients and the community I am building who love, support, and collaborate with each other.
What's next for me? I'm diving into nurturing a community of women who support each other during this phase of life, and I'd love to take you along for the ride.
If this is the first time we're meeting, I'd love to hear from you!
π What's something you're focusing on right now in your health journey? Let's share, learn, and grow together! π

Remember when you had thick, full hair? If that feels like a distant memory or your shower drain is getting clogged, you might be experiencing perimenopause symptoms π«£
Hair thinning, texture changes, or increased shedding affect
approximately 40% of women during perimenopause, but most women think they're doing something wrong or "just getting old."
π―ββοΈ The good news? You are NOT alone, and this is NOT your fault!
I see women in my practice every day who are shocked to learn their hair changes are hormone-related and treatable. The relief on their faces when they realize they're not imagining things is everything to me.
If your hair is abandoning you, there IS a root cause (π€ͺ). Hormones, sleep disruption, vitamin deficiencies, or a combination can be the culprit - and we can address them!
The symptoms of navigating this phase can feel overwhelming, so let's tackle them one at a time TOGETHER.
