Ophelia grew up in Texas where there was no water for her to walk through. As a result, she avoids water on her feet at all cost. I am so grateful that I have a friend who is a confident, balanced rider as we help her understand the water will not eat her feet.

Three Finn Sheep wethers available in Wetumpka. Great wool for a hobby fiber farm or excellent for equine pasture management. This multi-purpose breed has been a delightful addition to our ranch. Our ram/wether pasture is at capacity and these guys will make an excellent addition to someone’s property.

***update*** these goslings have a new pond.
Two male Cotton Patch goslings looking for their new nest. Gosling one is starting to get his white fluff feathers in. Gosling two is about five days younger. They are growing and thriving. Excellent foragers. Fantastic guardian geese. These ganders will mature to a solid white with blue eyes and pink legs and beak. DM for more information. Located in Central Alabama.

Registered RMHA filly Booker’s Red October is officially weaned! This six month old has met every challenge and surpassed every expectation. She will make an amazing trail horse. Her conformation makes her a stunning show prospect. With a silver and agouti gene hiding under the red, she has the potential as a future broodmare. She is available in central Alabama.

My cotton patch geese have been working hard, y’all! One girl sat for 35 days to hatch three fuzzy goslings and now the second girl has been sitting for about 21 days. There were only three viable eggs remaining. The sweet, nesting momma was frantically rolling two eggs around the coop yesterday afternoon and upon further inspection this guy had slithered up under her and eaten her baby. I know, I know…circle of life and all that, but these are MY geese. He ate the wrong lady’s egg. Special shout out to my white knight neighbor who helped me evacuate this potential gosling. I wrote on the egg so I would know which one it was and gave it back to our house who happily has three eggs again.

Goslings!
We have Cotton Patch goslings that are looking for their own ranch. Currently we have two ganders available with the possibility of more hatching soon.
Cotton Patch geese are a heritage breed that is listed through the Livestock Conservancy due to dwindling numbers. They are excellent foragers, with unique blue eyes and pink beak and feet.
