Excited to share two recent animations we just completed for Korro Bio! Korro Bio, a leading biotechnology company specializing in RNA editing technologies, sought to educate stakeholders about their cutting-edge processes.
“Working with XVIVO has been a game-changer for our educational initiatives, and the experience of working with XVIVO was great. Everyone was very polite, very professional and the quality of the work is fantastic. I mean the animations speak for themselves. When I finally showed the work, we had been developing to my team, we got a huge round of applause!”

Understanding Science: Visuals VS Text 📖➡️🎥
While traditional marketing can often prioritize text-heavy materials, our experience at XVIVO demonstrates the unmatched power of visuals.
We’ve witnessed firsthand how our scientific animations and illustrations help people comprehend intricate concepts more easily.
It’s time to rethink educational strategies—integrating more animations and visual content can lead to greater engagement and comprehension of complex ideas.

The Unseen Benefits of Merging Art with Science in Medical Fields 🎨🔬
“A picture paints a thousand words” - Arthur Brisbane
By integrating artistic techniques into medical visualization, complex information is made accessible and engaging, transforming how medical professionals and their clients can grasp intricate concepts.
This approach not only makes understanding complex science easier, but also increases the effectiveness of medical communication, bridging the gap between technical expertise and creative expression.
Art in science isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s a powerful strategic tool to drive decision-making and investment from conception to commercialization.
What's your experience with interdisciplinary approaches in your field?

At XVIVO, storyboards are an essential part of our animation process. After the script is developed, our medical illustrators meticulously research the science and translate it into compelling visual narratives. The storyboards detail everything that will take place in the final program, including voice-over narration, key visual events, and motion graphics.
This storyboard image is taken from the “SL-172154 MOA ANIMATION,” designed for Shattuck Labs to showcase their ARC platform, a checkpoint blockade combined with an Immune Co-stimulant. Visualizing how this molecule is showcased and how it functions at the molecular level are all visualized in the storyboard phase. Today is the 75th annual World Heath Day, and what better way for us to celebrate than to share our "The Inner Life of the Cell" medical animations. Since the original programs were released in 2006, the animations have inspired thousands of students to become biologists and health care providers. It has been used worldwide by educators, scientists, and news outlets to help explain cellular biology and inspired other artists and researchers in their own works.
This award-winning cinematic animation put XVIVO on the map over 15 years ago and allowed us to partner with so many exciting and inspiring colleagues since then. We are so grateful to Rob Lue and all he did to further molecular visualization, Alain Viel for his research and continued partnership, the great artists who have contributed to these animations, and the people who work tirelessly to help expand science literacy around the world.
