This is Juan Jose Bernabe Perez G'24, who graduated from Regis with a Master's in Public Health! Recently named to the Boston Business Journal's 40 under 40 list, he credits his success to his Regis education.
"My education at Regis, combined with hands-on experiences in healthcare systems, prepared me to lead in complex, high-stakes environments by strengthening both my technical knowledge and my ability to apply it in practice. Through coursework in public health, risk management, and systems leadership, I developed a strong foundation in regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and trauma-informed care, skills that I now use daily in my role.
For example, during my career progression into executive leadership, I applied the performance improvement and regulatory frameworks I learned at Regis to design and implement an enterprise risk management program at a behavioral health hospital. This initiative reduced regulatory exposure by 30% and significantly improved audit outcomes. My ability to analyze systems, lead interdisciplinary teams, and implement sustainable change directly reflects the practical, mission-driven education I received.
Overall, Regis prepared me not just with knowledge, but with a values-driven approach to leadership, one that emphasizes accountability, continuous improvement, and compassionate, patient-centered care."
Still so proud of the over 1,000 students who got their degrees on Saturday.
