Project P Garage started out as a family and friends getting together and working on projects on the cars they love.

Most people wonder what the "P" in Project P Garage stands for. Founders Justin Aquines, Francis Lubanga and Noly Medina figured it stands for whatever word that you can insert that started with the letter "P" that pertained to the group. “Pals”, “Perfectionist”, “Pinoy”, were a few words we came up with in the beginning and it grew from there. Jokingly we would use words like “Poser”, “Painful” (

Disassembled, cleaned and greased the shifter on my Jag. Had to add some nylon washers on the shifter pinwheel as it had some play. Now she shifts smoothly through the gears.

Swapped out the alternator on the Subaru Forester a family friend now has. It’s charging normally and running perfectly.

Pictures at my nephew’s schools cars and coffee meet. Brought the AW11 to LA to participate. It was fun hanging out and chilling. Hopefully this April J will bring his E55 and Drake will bring his NA Miata. Photo credit goes to my cousin J. Thanks for the awesome pictures bro!

Tooled on my cousins W211 E55 over the weekend. Rear passenger air suspension air bag developed a leak and the rear end of the car was on the ground. Had it towed to my place and replaced the airbag and did some maintenance. She is back on the road and drives beautifully. We had a fun day!

It stopped raining for a couple of hours so I did some work on the Jaguar. Decided to pressure wash the driveway in order to get rid of some oil stains. I finished just in time for the rain to finish the work on the driveway.

Drove back to OC from the desert late Christmas Eve after spending time with my mom and her husband John. It was raining on the way back which is good as we need it. Love driving in the rain especially in the GX470.

Had to change my fuel injector harness connectors to the eight fuel injectors as the locking tabs broke on all of them. Swapped out my aftermarket fuel injectors to stock injectors. Runs like a champ and it fixed the intermittent starting problem. Short and long Fuel trim is all normal. I’m happy 😃

Next week someone I know will be happy to have his car back from the Porsche shop. It’s been a long 8 months but it will be worth the wait!

Finally got around to painting the block for my Ford Ranger XLT. Baby steps in the right direction.

Sold my trailer and picked up this 1995 Ford Ranger XLT extended cab. In decent condition for its age. Engine is seized and will need to be rebuilt. This 3.0 liter v6 is so tiny it’s like working on a four cylinder. The truck is a 5 speed manual which I prefer. I look forward to using this for hauling things to and from the desert. 😊

After a long hiatus due to health issues, I started getting back into projects. Picked up this beautiful Jaguar XK8 coupe in the beginning of the year and decided to freshen up the suspension. Replaced the foam bushings in the top strut mounts, changed the upper and lower control arm bushings, replaced the upper and lower ball joints, and the outer tie rod ends. She sits higher and rides firm, just like the convertible. 😊
