That’s what 12 members of the Conexus team got to support today at the Boulder Mod Factory with Flatirons Habitat for Humanity.

The Boulder Mod program is a unique partnership between Flatirons Habitat For Humanity and Boulder Valley School District. Together, they’re helping address affordable housing needs while giving students hands-on experience in the skilled trades.

It’s practical, needed work that creates opportunity on both sides. Families have a path to homeownership, and students gain real-world skills that can shape their future.

At Conexus, serving our community matters. Through Conexus Cares, we look for ways to support the people, programs, and organizations doing important work close to home. 💙

We’re grateful to spend the day contributing to a project that will have a lasting impact right here in our community.

✨📖 Learning at Conexus takes many forms.

While 100% of our team is licensed, 20 members of our team have gone a step further by earning professional insurance designations, representing 45% of our organization.

These advanced credentials require specialized coursework, examinations, and ongoing education in areas such as risk management, employee benefits, commercial insurance, leadership, and client service.

Professional designations are just one example of how our team members invest in their development. We're proud of those who have earned these credentials and those who are actively working toward them.

As we get ready to move into our new office suite next week, Aaron is building a custom island table for our collaboration and kitchen space, the Conexion Spot.

It will be a place for team meetings, collaboration, celebrations, and the everyday conversations that keep us connected.

A table may seem simple, but it represents a lot of what matters most to us: showing up, working together, and making room for everyone at it.

We’re looking forward to the conversations ahead.

Congratulations to Alex Pedersen and his foursome for winning the East Course Championship at the 25th Annual Pinnacol Foundation Golf Tournament.

We’re proud to support the Pinnacol Foundation and its mission of helping the children of workers who have been seriously injured or lost their lives on the job pursue their educational goals.

🏔️ From the office to the field.

This week, Brian, Commercial Account Manager, and Willie, Employee Benefits Advisor, spent a few days backpacking and fly-fishing in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison Wilderness with Brian's son.

One of the things we appreciate most about Conexus is that the relationships don't stop when the workday ends. Our team members genuinely enjoy spending time together, whether that's helping clients solve problems, volunteering in the community, or heading into Colorado's backcountry.

Community isn't just where we work. It's where we live, explore, and build lasting relationships.

We’re proud to spotlight Flatirons Habitat For Humanity as one of our Conexus Cares nonprofit partners this quarter. ❤️

For more than 30 years, Flatirons Habitat has helped local families in Boulder and Broomfield Counties achieve safe, affordable homeownership and long-term stability.

Later this month, members of the Conexus team will volunteer at the Boulder MOD Factory to help build modular homes for the Ponderosa affordable housing community. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support an organization making such a meaningful impact right here in Colorado.

The EB team brought the competitiveness to Noodle Hockey during teambuilding this week… and let’s just say, there were noodles, chaos, and balls flying everywhere. 😂

One of the best parts of a busy week is taking a moment to pause, laugh, and just have fun together. Grateful for a team that works hard and can still bring the energy (and the competitive spirit) when it’s time to step away from the day-to-day and enjoy some time together.
