Big news for 2026: I’m gonna be a Grandma. Our first grand child is due late June. We’re over the moon!!
With this news, I decided NOT to do many events until next September and mostly work on next Holiday Season. This means no ComFest, and no Hippie Fest this year. The one festival I would love to do is SunflowerFestival in Coshocton. And, if I can afford the cost maybe one of the Yellow Springs events.
With this change, I’m looking into different hats and scarves designs as Joann’s closing made my availability of certain yarns a bit more difficult to find. Yes, I can go online and buy in bulk; this would still be too expensive, thus I’d have to raise prices to make up the difference. A lot of my clientele have been seniors and really, I’d like to keep things priced that are reasonable and affordable.
I’ll still be doing Pour Paintings on Canvas and Ceramic Coasters, and sew the Hair Scrunchies. I really want to learn more this year, especially sewing.
This is going to be an amazing year 😃

I haven’t had the chance to make the Granny Square Tank tops nor the Mesh Market bags, as fibromyalgia pain has been impacting my hands. I have been able to sew Hair Scrunchies and do some Pour Paintings. I’ll be posting more picture of what I have already made and I’ll update what shows I’ll be at until the end of the year

Went to Avant Garde Vendor and Craft show in Hilliard, not as a crafter but a spectator and buyer of all things hand made. I’m always amazed of the the creativity…how people can take an idea and make it work. There is no limit…and that makes my heart happy 💜
