We prefer a more minimal approach when it comes to styling a coffee table; a few thoughtfully chosen accessories can feel calming and intentional without creating visual clutter.

One of our favorite styling tricks is grouping accessories on a tray so everything can easily be moved when you’re using the table. We also love incorporating a functional box to tuck away remotes, reading glasses, and the everyday items you want close by but out of sight.

Texture, tones and visual interest - all thanks to this square tile in shade variations.
In the design world, we rate this tile a V4 on the V-scale rating system. Tiles are given a V-rating, or variation rating, so the designer understands how varied the color, tone and texture of a group of tiles will be. The range is V0 (very uniform appearance) through V4 (substantial variation).

A fully styled space can make such a big difference in how finished a home feels.

This client had already made a great start with her ginger jars and a few sentimental pieces, but she just could not get the look to feel like the Pinterest inspiration she had in mind. We stepped in to layer in brass accents and woven rattan textures to warm up the porcelain and blue, creating a look that feels collected and intentional.

While this was part of a full home furnishings project, styling is something we’re always happy to do as a standalone project if your space is feeling unfinished. We focus on using what our clients already own and love, then thoughtfully layer in additional pieces to bring everything into balance.

Because sometimes a room is beautifully furnished, but without styling, it can feel like something is missing.

Spring is all about growth and new beginnings - so it felt like the perfect time to reintroduce ourselves and share a little behind-the-scenes look at what we’ve been working on lately.
We currently have two full-home renovations in Charlestown and Westerly under construction, both set to wrap up by summer, just in time for those warm, beachy days ☀️
We’re also working on a fully remote new build in North Carolina for past clients creating their forever home down south. From our studio in Westerly, we’ve developed furniture layouts, selected finishes and fixtures, and designed custom cabinetry 💻️
Closer to home, we’re in the procurement phase for a Westerly summer house, with furnishings for the bedrooms and study scheduled to be installed in time for Memorial Day 🏡
In Watch Hill, a historic home is being thoughtfully renovated, and we’re layering in furnishings for the living room, dining room, breakfast nook, and sunroom ahead of the Fourth of July holiday. This project has been especially fun - our client has a deep appreciation for the details, so we’ve been leaning into custom upholstery and trim moments 😌
After completing their full home furniture installation last year, returning clients of ours have asked us to design the nursery for their new baby, arriving this fall. Truly the sweetest kind of new beginning 💗
And rounding things out, we’re kicking off a full-home furnishing project for a family’s Westerly vacation home later this month 🌷
