Starting another project! Hey forever home for some friends of ours. With the help of Earthworks, we are underway!

Good morning Facebook friends and family! We are proud to release the finished product of our first venture into investment properties!

This venture started four months ago with the demolition of the interior and all internal components that go with it. This absolutely would not have been possible without the help of some good friends and family. I would like to take the time to thank Christopher Warner, Chad Algier, Ryan Northup, Ed Damien, Brian Morrison, Earthworks, Allen Teft, Tom Allen, Corey Briggs, Rae Roy, Ally Northup, and of course Sara Elizabeth, who helped with the interior design and handled all of the furniture refinishing.  (If I forgot someone reach out and We’ll add you.

After inspections this morning this property will be available for weekly or daily (two day minimum) rental. 

This needs to happen again soon.

While funny this meme is sad, but true... finding good help is hard.

Sorry friends and followers for taking so long to post an update.

We have been busy for sure! The interior is all in primer and the ceilings are finished painted. Kitchen and foyer floors are tiled and the bathroom is ready to go. Just one more room to install the hardwood floor. Interior doors and kitchen cabinets are inbound!

Drywall done! Ceilings are finished and walls are primed. Next up is flooring!

7/16 OSB $37.55. For those who don’t know, that is less than 1/2 inch, which is the minimal requirement in our area for roof decking and sheathing. This same sheet less than a year ago was $15. This is why construction prices have sky rocketed. It’s not because your contractor price gouging.

So it’s been a few weeks so we figured we were due for a update. Electrical is in progress. Windows are being sanded and prepped for paint. All the walls have been moved and the demolition is complete. Chimney and the old heat will come out this week.

Well it’s been a busy three days at our new project. We’ve decided to remove some walls and change the layout on a couple of others. We’re going to move the laundry to the upstairs but haven’t started with that project yet kitchen is all out walls are down. Chimney is coming down in a couple of days. Most of the hardwoods have been removed and things are coming along nicely.
