4 years ago I took my very first client at … since then it’s been one of the best journeys of my life. I’ve learned so much about myself (I’m pretty badass to start a business with 0 clientele and now turn it into a thriving business that helps support my family)

it’s hard to be so confident out loud but I would be impressed with anyone that built a business from scratch. .. so why not me?!?! 😂

I’ve met some amazing clients that have turned into friends for life. Like truly amazing people who are extremely caring and authentic.

I’ve taken countless educational classes to grow myself as a stylist. Running a business is not for the weak it’s not all glamorous, my brain never shuts down. Whether it be what I did today or what I have to do tomorrow or what call I need to return or what call I need to make, whose message I need to respond to, making sure you’re fully stocked for whatever walks through the door, not to mention having to help people through very traumatic situations or celebrate some of their greatest moments- us stylist truly are therapist , motivators, beauticians & and safe landing spot.

I would like to take a moment to thank every single person that’s ever walked through these doors, to the ones who have stuck with me. I appreciate you more than you know and for the ones I may not have seen in a while. You also have helped me grow.

I am working on updating some policies over the next couple of weeks.

This is a change implemented immediately.

I know that no call no shows are part of the territory in this industry. However, I cannot stress enough that this is my livelihood. This is how I feed my family so when somebody does not show up for their appointment, not only is it money out of my families pockets, it also leaves me no time to try and fill that slot.

I am very lucky. I don’t experience many of them but when I do, it hurts both the flow of my day and financially.

I feel I give plenty of reminders for the appointment and up until today the policy was 24 hours. A simple call or text is very appreciated... it shows that you respect me as a human and as a service provider.

I completely understand life happens. If you know me, you know I get it. I’m not naïve to know sometimes there are emergency situations and extenuating circumstances those will be handled on a case by a case basis, but in order for me to protect my business going forward there are a few changes that need to be made.
If anybody has any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. I have no problem explaining further or clarifying any Grey areas.

As always, thank you so much to the ones that continue to choose me for their hair. I appreciate you all so much. There are no words to express my gratitude to be here 4 years later still doing what I love in the place that I built from scratch.
