Look what’s back and as beautiful as ever!

Four of the Starry Lights elements are up and lit! More coming when the arctic freeze has passed.

🌟Star Island🌟 lighting is Friday November 21 at 4:30pm at the Velvet Mill Studios, 22 Bayview Avenue in Stonington. Come watch the lights go on and then enjoy the Autumn Stroll in the The Velvet Mill.

Our beautiful Star Island has been in storage 3 years. It is going to be moved to the pond at The Velvet Mill in Stonington Borough where it will be appreciated by new audiences this holiday season. The Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce commissioned artist Christopher Owens to create this magical piece and we are delighted to extend our Starry Lights exhibit where it will bring joy once again. It will also support the incredible businesses in the mill.

💍Congratulations to Cameron Moore and Samuel Lee on their engagement! This wonderful couple said yes to forever at the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce Starry Lights exhibit making them the first couple this year to do so. ❤️

We’re making progress!

Thanks to Volunteers Ron Bedard and Sofee Noblick who assisted Grace and Lisa from the chamber for 4 hours to string new lights. We are grateful for our volunteers!

Their love story started many years ago and they made it “official” when Dan DeDominicis recently popped the question 💍 to Ariana Magowan at Starry Lights✨. Now that family and friends know, they gave us permission today to identify them as the 2nd couple that got engaged here this season. Best wishes to them!❤️

At 8:30pm on New Years Eve, Tony and Julia of Pawcatuck got engaged under the ✨star tunnel✨. By sheer coincidence, Chamber President Lisa Konicki had the great honor and luck of volunteering to take their photos, and getting to witness the surprise proposal. What a fantastic way to end the year at Starry Lights. Three couples this season have been engaged in this spot so far. Best wishes to this terrific young couple. ❤️
