first small project of season...patio extension, new garden with stepping stones to join patios. My team went hard today!
After a year of trying out a different path, Create A Scape designs will back in full for the 2022 season. I want to thank all of my friends, family, customers for their overwhelming support. I am really grateful for all of your kind words and support!

spring 2018
We love getting great feedback from our customers. We're happy to hear that the plants are doing well, and we hope that the spring weather gets here soon, too!
"After I filled the bird feeders, I took a walk around the yard. Spring is in the air! I don't think I have lost any plants! I checked them off one by one as I walked. Butterfly bushes, Nova Zembla rhododendron, white lilac, purple lilac, white Rose of Sharon, purple Rose of Sharon. The sage and coreopteris in the island are still dormant. Then I got to the Redbud....not looking super but there are four flower buds. The leaves are still dormant which is one of the things I like about Redbuds...flowers bloom without leaves. Then the Maple, the Mugho Pines, the creeping junipers, the azaleas ...check! Then the perennials....Astilbe, Jacob's Ladder, Lamb's ear, and three plants that Judy gave me that I forget the names of...check. Then the back and side beds....Day lilies, iris and hostas, my favorites...check. And lo and behold, the poor sickly peony rescued from a very shady spot in Oneonta at my sister's is alive and well! The line of woods to the left of the driveway is a cornucopia of native plants that I m just beginning to identify. The American Holly is large and provided beautiful red berries for the birds this winter. Thanks to BJ of Create-a-Scape, I have burning bushes rescued from Killingworth and thanks again to Judy, for the forsythia which are in bud. Lastly, there is an enigmatic bush with buds that look like flower buds that I will have to identify once they bloom. This is a triumph for BJ and I taking what was a sad newly-cleared lot and transforming it into a garden. Spring is springing!
