A lot of people have asked me recently if I need anything. All in all doing well. Miss you guys so much that I can't put it into words.

There's very little food left. We're going to try to do brunch as long as we can. If you have a reservation after 11:00 a.m. chances are we won't be able to accommodate it. Thank you everybody for all your cool words this past week.

Thank you everyone who has taken a moment to share a story, words of encouragement or just to let us know you're thinking about us. I have read so many nice things over 48 hours.

I'm trying to read them all. I'm trying to respond but the one thing I can tell you if you want a reservation just keep using the website thefrogandturtle.com

There's a lot of people who want to come say goodbye and we are honored that this is happening. However it's presenting a challenge in itself. Just please be patient, Don't try to book it enormously large tables and just try keeping going through the website. Thank you all so much. Chef James

I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know we have made the hard decision to close the restaurant. Our final day will be March 2nd.

The City is requiring us to put a sprinklers system next door. Without it our spaces are unrentable. The added financial hardship of no rent mixed with the other financial challenges in today’s market have led to our difficult decision.

Thank you to all who have enjoyed our pub over the years. It has been a great joy cooking for you all and sharing the love of music. Thank you to the great musicians who have shared their talents.

Thank you to the amazing staff, past and present. Our current group are some of the best people I have ever worked with.

A sincere thanks to the Cote’s, who went from customers to owners. Their love for Westbrook is unmatched and without them I would not have been able to do so much.

Special thanks to Heidi, Logan and Mallory, who have sacrificed a lot over the years to allow me to do what I love.

While I’m not sure where the road will take me, I have been blessed with a great journey so far.
