BLVCKOUT: a project based organization that serves as a platform for aspiring artists. Imagine a blackout and you can not see anything.
The conceptual idea behind BLVCKOUT is to elevate our community from a general state of "ignorance" by providing strong purposeful community building events that cater to evolving us "artists" overall awareness and understanding of our crafts as well as to ultimately shorten the learning curve by providing the right resources. This relates to a state of ignorance or simply translated to; a lack of
comprehension, unaware or lack of information/resources. The goal is to find/become the light in the blackout so that we may gain sight in result (building awareness, sharing information, discovering resources to help us "see in the dark"). From this point we share the light that we have found and/or created. Spreading our new found insights and allowing these resources to grow and develop until we as individuals can pull our entire community into the light. Then its from there... that we can watch the beauty of which paths get built, directions individuals or groups take and those new heights that we can reach as we continue to spread our resources, insights and new found knowledge. Until the surrounding community begins to see or seek our light in the BLVCKOUT.
