ADGA National Show is an annual event of the American Dairy Goat Association.

This email was sent to all National Show Exhibitors this evening:

Dear Exhibitors,

New World Screwworm (NWS) remains a dynamic and rapidly evolving animal health concern, with states continuing to update and make decisions as new information becomes available. The ADGA National Veterinary Show team has been closely monitoring updates and working with Laura, the National Show Committee Chair, to provide exhibitors with relevant information.

While ADGA cannot monitor every state or county through which exhibitors may travel, the counties currently affected are primarily in southern Texas and New Mexico. Exhibitors should avoid traveling through impacted or quarantined counties when planning their routes to the National Show.

At this time, Massachusetts has not issued any additional import requirements or required specific statements on Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (CVIs) for animals that do not originate from or travel through an impacted area. However, requirements for impacted states and areas have changed. These may include a CVI issued no more than five days before entering the state, along with statements regarding NWS status and/or preventative measures, depending on the county status in the affected state.

Please review this memo from the Massachusetts Department of Animal Health for additional information. https://buff.ly/r3MDQe4

Members should also use the following USDA APHIS link to monitor counties currently impacted by New World Screwworm: https://buff.ly/7JRqPZL

Please note: If your animals originate from an impacted or quarantined county, or if you travel through a county that is listed as positive or under quarantine on your day of travel, this may affect the validity of your CVI and may change the import requirements for entering Massachusetts and participating in the ADGA National Show.

Because this situation is evolving, exhibitors are responsible for reviewing current state and federal guidance before travel and ensuring all required documentation is accurate and valid at the time of entry.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

ADGA Office Update: National Show Reminder

As the National Show approaches, we know many members are closely monitoring their accounts for pending work, especially rush items needed for travel and check-in.

If your paperwork has arrived at the ADGA office, but it is not reflected in your account, please reach out to us. In some cases, there may be a support ticket in progress, or our team may have already left you a voicemail regarding the item.

Rush work is generally processed very quickly once it is received in the office; however, we continue to receive new work daily, and there are no guarantees on turnaround times.

If you have questions or concerns about something you are waiting on, we would much rather hear from you now so we can help look into it. Please contact the office during phone hours, and we kindly ask that all communication with staff remain respectful and courteous.

A few additional National Show reminders:

• Please make sure you have funds available in your ADGA account for any work that needs to be completed.

• Per the National Show rules, ADGA staff cannot transport paperwork, certificates, or other items to the National Show on behalf of members.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as the office works through a very busy National Show season.

Camping Update 6/17 at 4 PM:

If you reserved a campsite through Eastern States Exposition (ESE), please remember to bring the receipt with the QR code that you received when your reservation was confirmed. This QR code will be needed when you arrive.

If possible, please plan to arrive with your camper on Saturday, June 27, after 7:00 a.m. EDT.

If your rental company must deliver your camper on Friday, June 26, it can be placed in a general camping area near the Mallary Building with full hookups. However, due to limited staffing that day, ESE may not be able to place your camper near your livestock pens.

Campers arriving on June 27 after 7:00 a.m. will have ESE staff available to direct them to a campsite as close as possible to their pens, based on availability.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work with Eastern States Exposition to provide the best possible camping experience. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the 2026 ADGA National Show!

ADGA National Show Camping Registration Reminder

Exhibitors planning to camp during the 2026 ADGA National Show are asked to complete camping registration AND have their camper rental forms turned in to Maureen by Monday, June 22.

While there may be some flexibility if needed, completing registration by this date will help Eastern States Exposition determine the number of spaces needed and create a more effective arrival plan.

Additional camping information from ESE is expected by the end of the week and will be shared as soon as it is available.

Register here: https://buff.ly/yfuBlqc
Thank you for helping ESE plan ahead!

Revised 6/17 at 9 AM ET.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to work with Showman to support our exhibitors with the substitution process. We also appreciate your understanding, as incorrect information was shared last night, and we want to clarify the process moving forward.

To accommodate exhibitor substitutions, we are temporarily reopening entries in Showman. This will allow you to change your current animal entries and enter the animals you wish to substitute.

You will notice that the entry fee for new entries is listed as $20,000 per head. Please do not be concerned — you will not be charged this amount for substitutions. This temporary fee is simply being used to distinguish substitution entries from original entries in the system.

You may also see an amount owed in Showman. Please do not pay this amount. ADGA will correct these balances at the admin level after substitutions close.

Please note that this process is for substitutions only and should not be used to add additional animals beyond your original entry allotment. While entries are open, you may also add Youth Event entries if you have not already done so.

Please do not delete entries when making substitutions. Instead, edit your existing entries whenever possible. Edit the entry first, and then edit the breed and class.

The only exception is when you need to substitute a junior animal for a senior animal, or vice versa. In that case, you will need to delete the original entry and select the correct show/class for the substituted animal.

You may need to refresh the page to see your changes.

Substitutions close Monday, June 22, at 11:59 AM ET.
