We've had inquiries about the bridge. Don't look too hard- we should've done a practice bridge to work out all the kinks before we did this one. I forget who built the deck, but the rest is all cut wood from the back yard.
Five learning points - 1. Do your homework. Look at photos of what you want to accomplish and learn how the weight is distributed. 2. Practice what you want to do. 3. Use real branches. Be very selective. In retrospect, I would have found a single, long tree branch with minimal differences in diameter. 4. Don't cut the branch using hobby tools. It makes a mess. 5. You may also want to dry the branch in a 250F oven for half an hour before use to kill off anything in it.
