It's an important part of work

One of the first shows I ever played as a kid was at the Prairie Arts Festival at the gazebo in the park. I was probably like 11 or 12 and it felt like the most exciting thing in the world and pretty much sealed my fate. And you know what? I feel just as excited to play there again all these years later at Black Prairie Blues Museum on Sept 5!

A glimpse into another new one in its earliest form...Down at the Shelaine
Just a little peak into my process working out a bridge for a new tune. I don't always add one, but I feel like the song tells me when I should? I guess for me they seem to kinda encapsulate the theme and bring it all together, like the song has been traveling towards it and finally arrives.
