West Point Small Unit Tactics Team

Tonight the West Point Small Unit Tactics Team will be conducting a static display for Club Night in Esienhower Hall to promote the team and encourage underclassmen to come and join our ranks. Feel free to swing by our table and get a quick introduction into what the SUTT is all about!

Tonight the Small Unit Tactics Team conducted nighttime room clearing in order to further hone their urban operations skills and to conduct familiarization with NVGs.

Today, the Small Unit Tactics Club assisted the West Point Scoutmasters' Council with their Scout Day event. Members of the Club conducted a static display to show the scouts the various weapons used by the U.S. Army.

A-Day is fast approaching, and that can only mean one thing - Club night is right around the corner. More information on that will arrive in the coming days. In the mean time, remember that if you can't be quiet, be deadly.

This weekend marked the culmination of a semester's worth of Urban Warfare Training for the tactics team. With Exercise "Wings of Liberty", members applied concepts relating to patrolling, military operations in urban terrain and small unit tactics. Members also practiced conducting Key Leader Engagements (KLE's) as an introduction to working in the human terrain. Best of luck to all our teammates in their summer assignments.
