Team Team Team of Cornwall, New York has distinguished themselves as the 2015 World's Best Virtual Bridge Designers. Lucas Donnellan and Liam Caufaglione both earned $5,000 dollar scholarships during the Final Round of this year's Bridge Design Contest. Congratulations Lucas and Liam!

2015 Contest Results | Bridge Design Contest The Semi-Final Round of the Engineering Encounters Bridge Design Contest was conducted on May 15, 2015, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm EDT. During this period, 72 teams used the Bridge Designer 2015 to create new bridge designs, based on a unique semi-final project scenario.
The Semi Final Round of the Engineering Encounters Virtual Bridge Design Contest takes place tomorrow. The contest is sponsored by the American Society of Civil Engineers and Dell Computers. More than 8,000 teams competed in the Qualifying Round. The top 49 high school and middle school teams from across the nation will compete in the Semi Final Round Friday. The Final Round will take place 11 July at West Point. Good Luck Virtual Bridge Designers!

The Final Round of the Engineering Encounters Bridge Design Contest was conducted yesterday at West Point, New York. Five high school teams and three middle school teams competed. And after two intense hours of head-to-head bridge designing, Team ABC Bridge–Stephen and Anthony Chen from University High School in Morgantown, West Virginia–triumphed in the high school category; and the Bridge Insider–Nikki Zinzuwadia from Saint Francis de Sales Middle School in Beckley, West Virginia–won the middle school category. Congrats to our winners, who won cash scholarships—and to all 13 finalists, who each earned a gorgeous new VENUE 11 Pro tablet computer, donated by our friends at Dell.
STEM Strong!
Cadets and two new 2LT's from the United States Military Academy spent the week working with a group of 5th grade students in Anaheim, California. The Tiger Woods Learning Center offered a week long workshop featuring STEM and Forensics activities.
Students from across the nation spent the last three days learning about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Stay STEM STRONG!

Students from across the nation are spending the next three days participating in a CSE STEM Workshop at the United States West Point - The U.S. Military Academy. Students will explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics with cadets and faculty members.
