2019, Class Ring, looks to be a "Battle Ring" with a granite stone, owner was likely at JBLM/Fort Lewis. Contact us if you think it is yours or know who the owner might be. No name listed inside ring. [email protected] (hey wait a minute, does this mean you "lost the Battle" LOL!!)

1975 ring, name help?? A few ideas below but nothing definitive

FYI: Advice to anyone getting a class ring. Advice to cadets on their class rings and to parents of cadets. The engraving inside the class ring should always include your full name. Mottos or sayings are neat, but they make found class rings with a motto inside and no name almost impossible to return. John Smith class of 2022 is easy to find and return but “John 3:16” is difficult to locate.

Navy ring. Any help on the name? What do you think the name is?

Need a little crowd source help. For IRS reasons I need a formal written appraisal of 60 USMA rings donated to West Point Museum. Legally, the USMA museum cannot provide an appraisal. So I need a certified appraiser to go to the museum and make the appraisal there on site. I am of course, willing to pay a reasonable fee for this service. The museum is aware and willing to assist. Thanks for any leads or anyone who can help, preferably somebody in the greater West Point area. thx Michael McGurk

Part two of the story, Dr. Wright also collected USNA Rings. His widow gave the collection to me. I considered returning them to Annapolis, epoxyed into a toilet bowl. However, taking the higher road. I (Michael McGurk) turned the USNA collection over to the Naval Academy Alumni Association. They are coordinating a display location at Annapolis.

The West Point Museum has taken possession of the USMA Ring Collection of Dr. Christopher Wright via a generous donation. In May 2025 Michael McGurk traveled to USMA to donate 60+ assorted rings from 1860 to 2009, each with a class "A-Pin" A truly priceless collection and addition to West Point

Owner found: Need some help from our friends. The name in this ring was intentionally removed. Most likely when it was stolen. However, there remains some faint traces of three or four letters that can be seen. Anybody with better computer skills or better eyes that can make out the faint letters. Best seen under high magnification.
