MDC reports hunters took 43,380 birds during spring turkey season Top harvest counties for the regular season were Franklin, Callaway, and Texas.

Closed our trip with getting my son tagged out “FYI - don’t shoot the bird on the edge of a deep water filled creek” 🤣 ******er

Chicka chicka yeah!!! Awesome double bearded longbeard my brother from another mother was able to tag while we was hunting in north central Nebraska!!!! His second bird and he made it into the multiple beard club!!! Congratulations!!!

To say I’m excited and proud is a huge understatement!! Nothing better than finding out the your mom tagged out on longbeards in Nebraska this weekend!!!! Her first trip up there and she tagged out on her on!!!!

I love it when a plan comes together!!! There’s something special about going out and helping your buddy fill a tag! Couple buddies of mine in Arkansas teamed up and was able to seal the deal on this old public land bird!! Congratulations guys!!!

Nothing like getting a text message from your buddy in Arkansas letting you know he just tag his first longbeard!!!!! Awesome job and congratulations !! That’s one heck of a first longbeard!!

It may just be an old log in the woods along the Missouri River of north central Nebraska but to me it hold some serious memories!! The left was me and my dad in 2019 posing with 2 long beards and on the right is me and my son from this spring posing with 2 longbeards. Both of the hunts took place with in yards of that old log and i will forever be caught in those moments and that spot for as long as I walk this earth!
