TIPS FOR THE PRODUCER:
MASTERING: Use a limiter instead of a compressor if you want to make your mix louder. The compressor will change the balance between the elements much more than a limiter.

TIPS FOR THE PRODUCER:
PROBLEM: Lifeless vocal performance. TIP: Record vocals again and turn down the vocal level on the singer headphone mix. Sometimes, when the singer hears himself too loud in their headphones they won't give their best. Try reducing the monitoring level of the vocals a little bit and they will give a better performance.

TIPS FOR THE PRODUCER:
Mono Compatibility: Taken from Dave Pensado

TIPS FOR THE PRODUCER:
Fatter Bass: Technique taken from Dave Pensado
Instead of raising the lower frequencies in the bass track, raise the whole volume fader in the track and cut the frequencies that interfere with other tracks like vocals. As you do that, you’ll gain better skills of cutting frequencies out instead of boosting others up.
