Position: Stacker / Truss Builder
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $17+ per hour (depending on experience)
Work: Building and stacking trusses, working outdoors, and using hand/power tools.

✅ Truss manufacturing experience not required but a plus
✅ Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
✅ Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and on occasion up to 75 lbs

Hiring Part-Time CDL Driver!
$30+ per hour
Summer 20-30 hours per week
Winter 10+ hours per week

Description

This position will be responsible for loading and unloading roof and/or floor trusses at job sites. Deliveries will be with an F550 and roll-off gooseneck trailer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain an accurate and timely delivery schedule.
2. Loads trucks properly by using forklift in loading and unloading of lumber and engineered wood products in a safe and accurate manner.
3. Ensures proper loading order by checking all loads to ensure they are tied down properly, and attaching flags as needed.
4. Deliver trusses with roll-off gooseneck trailer.
5. Assist the crane operator by hooking up chains to trusses to be hoisted onto roofs.
6. Complies with DOL driving regulations at all times by being fully aware of DOL requirements in regard to safe driving and driver requirements.
7. Completes daily inspection checklist by inspecting truck daily prior to operation to ensure that the vehicle is in proper working condition and turning in checklist to supervisor.
8. Ensure loads are accurate by checking loads against shipping tickets.
9. Sign off and complete all shipping paperwork to company standards
10. Performs occasional warehouse duties.
11. Reports all unsafe working conditions and practices to supervisor.
12. Adheres to OSHA requirements and company policies/procedures to ensure safety at all times.
Competencies
• Knowledge of company products, production processes and product standards
• Skilled in use of all tools and equipment used for component manufacture at location
• Ability to execute plans/projects through others
• Good verbal and written communication skills
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and two (2) years’ experience performing and coordinating construction manufacturing activities, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Truss manufacturing experience desired.

Work Environment/Physical Activity
• Work is performed within a shop environment, subject to temperature variations, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 75 pounds.
• May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling.

Looking for Truss Builders! Join our team! M-F 7:30-4:30pm

We are looking for full and part time motivated, dependable individuals to join our team with a variety of tasks. Your responsibilities will be to build and stack trusses, pull lumber out in the yard and assist with other duties as needed.

Skilled use of tools (hammers, nailers, drills, tape measures) a plus. Previous work experience building trusses or other construction a plus.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 25-40 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 75 pounds. Job tasks involve climbing, lifting, pushing and kneeling.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
