Cornerstone Assisted Living Memory Unit

We had a luau yesterday! We had Hawaiian ball, shuffle board, coconut limbo and Shannon Kay sang for us. It was a fun filled day with lots of smiles.

Please respond by Wednesday if you can come and visit and have some desserts with Dad.

Ended the day with a few drinks, snacks and dice bingo.

Yesterday due to the weather we couldn't celebrate national iced tea Day on the patio. So we celebrated it this morning by having some iced tea and playing a game of word mining. We broke our record of finding 120 words! We also had a visit from Loki.

I scream,you scream,we all scream for ice cream! Today most of us went to Hamburger Haus in Dundee for ice cream. Mmmm good.

Bob Welsh played his guitar and sang for us this morning. There was a lot of toe tapping and singing this morning.

Today during balloon ball, we had some guests pop in for a visit! Our caregiver Katie brought her son Clayton and Carol's great granddaughters Evelyn and Stella came also. They were the hit of our morning. All 3 brought so many smiles and hugs for everyone. Evelyn brought snacks for everyone. We sung happy first birthday to Stella. The morning ended with rounds of simon says and the hokey pokey.

Today was Rocky road ice cream day. The residents thoroughly enjoyed the treat.
