Just finished this 1980 shovelhead engine rebuild.

Repairing stripped sparkplug threads on a shovelhead. Installing heli-coil.

Modifications needed to install updated 81 - 91oil pump on 1980 crankcase.
Pressure valve relief. Using old jig bolted up to case.

This 1980 tr**ny was in a flood! Yikes! OK, everyone it telling me this is not a 1980 tr**ny. Yes I know. This came out of customers 1980 who changed it out because all the linkage on the original cow pie was shot.

Testing and adjusting a HD relay.

Just finished two 56 pan motors

2 1956 motors nearing completion.

Torque testing all pan cover threads before assembly. These threads strip pretty easily.

Working on our 47 Chief to figure out why she seems to run out of gas when trying to go over 50 mph. Went through carb a couple of times. Same problem. Turn the fuel on and bowl fills with gas. There is a new fuel filter in it too. I take the filter bowl off and look what I found ! Cork gasket installed was covering up fuel passage enough to restrict fuel flow.
