๐บ๐ธ Happy Juneteenth! โ๐ฟโ๐พโ๐ฝ
Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that marks the emancipation of the last enslaved African Americans in the United States. On June 19, 1865, news of freedom reached Galveston, Texasโmore than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
Juneteenth is a time to honor resilience, celebrate Black culture, and reflect on the ongoing journey toward justice and equality. It reminds us of the importance of freedom, community, and the work we all share in creating a more equitable society.
๐ As we commemorate this day, letโs lift up voices, support one another, and continue striving for a world where everyone can live freely, safely, and with dignity.

๐บ๐ธ Happy Flag Day! ๐บ๐ธ
Today, we honor the symbol of our nationโthe Stars and Stripesโand reflect on its history, meaning, and significance.
๐ Did you know?
โThe first official U.S. flag was adopted on June 14, 1777 by the Second Continental Congress.
โOur flag has 13 stripes, representing the original 13 colonies, and 50 stars, representing the 50 states.
โFlag Day itself was officially recognized by President Woodrow Wilson in 1916, and later designated a national observance by Congress in 1949.
โThe colors of the flag carry meaning: red symbolizes valor and bravery, white symbolizes purity and innocence, and blue represents vigilance, perseverance, and justice.
๐ On this day, we not only display our flag proudly, but we also remember the ideals it represents: freedom, unity, and the sacrifices made by countless Americans to protect it. Letโs take a moment today to honor our flag, appreciate our history, and reflect on what it means to us as a community and a nation. ๐บ๐ธ
