IT’S BACK. BUT BETTER. IT’S THE MANE EVENT.
Forget everything you know about the old "Little Black Dress" fundraiser. We’ve swapped up the playbook.
On Saturday, July 25, 2026, we are launching The Mane Event at Silvara. This isn’t just a party fundraiser; it’s the evolution of a community tradition. We’re talking garden-party elegance, a valley view at Silvara Cellars, and a vibe that welcomes everyone, couples, friends, partners, and colleagues.
The Agenda: Live music by Bandits of the Animal Kingdom. Exceptionial wine & delicious food. Sunset views in Leavenworth. Interactive fundraising activities and a chance to raise your paddle. A direct impact on Veterans, First Responders, and children and adults with disabilities.
This is your chance to slow down, connect, and celebrate and support Alatheia. This reimagined event is exactly what our supporters have been asking for, so we are delivering.

For Jair, Alatheia is one of the highlights of his week.
His dad, Jesus, shared that Jair looks forward to coming to Alatheia every week and has been part of our riding program for the past five+ years. Whether he’s riding his therapy horse, Vesla, playing ladder ball, shooting hoops, or spending time with his instructor Anne, Jair brings smiles and enthusiasm.
Born with hypotonia, Jair has worked hard to build his strength and confidence through therapeutic riding. Over the years, his dad has seen improvements in both his upper body and core strength, along with growing independence in the saddle. One of Jair’s favorite accomplishments is riding unclipped, giving him even more opportunity to build confidence and connection with Vesla.
Outside of Alatheia, Jair loves rodeos, video games, and music. But according to his dad, one thing has remained true since he was little: Jair loves his weekly rides.
We are so grateful to have him as part of the Alatheia family.

A huge thank you to Cordell, Neher & Co. for selecting Alatheia as your Community Service Project!
More than 40 members of the Cordell, Neher team joined us at our new facility to lend a hand as we prepare for our upcoming move. Working alongside Mr. Grette, this incredible group rolled up their sleeves and made a tremendous impact in just a few hours.
As we get closer and closer to opening our new home, there is no shortage of work to be done. Thanks to the dedication, energy, and generosity of the Cordell, Neher staff, we were able to make a huge dent in our to-do list and move one step closer to welcoming riders, Veterans, Ranch Hands participants, volunteers, and families to this incredible new space.
We are deeply grateful for your partnership and your willingness to invest your time and talents in helping us!

Keir brings so much heart to Alatheia. He loves swimming, books, painting, writing poetry, dancing, his church community, and serving others through volunteering at the Cashmere library and food pantry.
When Keir rides at Alatheia, something special happens. As he shared so beautifully, “I feel like I am dancing in the air and my body’s in rhythm.”
His mom says riding helps strengthen his balance and coordination, but what Keir loves most is the intentional communication with his team and the relationship he’s built with his therapy horse, Andor. Keir recently shared, “I'm a hard worker and ready to work. Andor is ready to work when I come."
His mom also shared that Keir once said, “Riding my horse is reciprocity. I ride. He carries me.” This is something we will never forget!
What a gift it is to witness that partnership.

For Seth, Alatheia is a place where he is truly seen.
His mom, Becky, shared that in many places Seth is not always approached, not always talked to, and not always the focus. But at Alatheia, he is.
She describes the Alatheia community as offering Seth an unconditional, unbounded love that he doesn’t experience everywhere else. Here, he is known, valued, and celebrated for exactly who he is.
One of Becky’s favorite moments is watching Seth ride independently. When the lead walker unclips and Seth takes full control of his horse, she says it is phenomenal to witness. It’s his growth. His confidence. His opportunity to express himself and be in control of something that is entirely his.
And as Seth's mom proudly shared, “He’s good at it. Really, really good at it.”
She believes what makes Alatheia so special is the heart behind it. The heart of every volunteer, parent, rider, instructor, and supporter who shows up and helps create a place where people like Seth can thrive.
We are so grateful to be part of Seth’s journey.

Emma has been part of Alatheia since she was a little girl, and now at 21, it’s been incredible to watch her confidence grow.
Riding gives her the sensory input her body needs, helping her feel calm and regulated by the end of each lesson. She’s learning she can do hard things, and it shows.
Her newer partnership with Bjorn has been a special part of that journey. As he’s learning and integrated into the program, Emma feels like she is giving back as she helps be a part of his team as he learns.
Emma’s mom shared, “Alatheia is such a huge part of our family, not just for Emma. We can’t imagine life without Alatheia.”
We’re so proud of you, Emma!
