I don’t know who needs to hear this but life does not end when things don’t happen the way they should.

I recently had a really hard thing happen to me. I was at my lowest and felt as though everything I did, everything I touched was a failure.

And then the people that love me. The people that know me. The people that see my positives, the beauty that I thought were blemishes, dragged me out of the depths of despair and into the light. And from there I decided to pick up my brokenness and turned lemons into lemonade.

I decided to focus on myself and in doing that, I found myself growing into the woman I’ve always wanted to become. I took time to focus on my art business. I did this by building a website. By signing up for an LLC and getting business cards. I’m going to start selling my art at public markets and become more of a public figure in our community.

But this tragedy also gave me time to start building my social media presence again.

Why do I share this? Because life is really hard. We all have our challenges but it’s how we handle these challenges that, if we can see past the garbage and debris that cloud our view, we can become the best version of ourselves. So…when life gets hard. Give it the big middle finger and know that our future is bright! All you have to do is shift your perspective and see the beauty behind the pain.

I firmly believe that a piece of art will make or break a room or location. A mural can add character to a space or become an eyesore.
