Was honored today to sharpen top of the line kitchen cutlery Cutco, Kai Shun, Victorinox, and more quality knives. They know there cutlery. The client later texted me a kind comment and picture. As a Master Sharpener, I truly appreciate kind comments. She texted,

November is almost behind us and the holidays are here. As you can see, I've been very busy sharpening cutlery, hunting knives, shears, and scissors. If you have a need for sharp knives, don't hesitate to call me. Master Sharpener Larry Nicholas 509-264-1509

May and June are now in the books. My lil' sharpening shop has been busy. I have sharpened some where in the neighborhood of 200 knives, scissors, and clipper blades. Thankfully after 10 years of experience, I've mastered the art of sharpening. I encourage everyone who wants to learn or understand how to sharpen their blades to hang around, watch me sharpen, and listen as I explain the process. Most importantly, I want everyone to understand how to use there kitchen block steel. Hopefully, some day I will be able to create a short video and share everything online. Sadly, a techie, I'm not.

Since my last posting, things in my little sharpening shop has slowed down a little. After a quick count, it appears I have only sharpened a little over a 100 blades from kitchen cutlery, styling and grooming shears, sewing scissors, pinking shears, clipper blades, hunting and filet knives, flower nippers, to a machete, shovel, and tree limb lopper.

I want to personally thank the many new and return clients for the opportunity to sharpen their blades.

I always ask for at least a 24 hour turn around but if you are from out of town, I can return them within an hour or two if needed. Of course, how fast I return your blades depends on the quantity, usually spending on average 20 minutes per blade.

No, I don't sell knives. However, I do sharpen these brands and more. These are my favorite recommended quality brands to all who are in the market for a nice set of cutlery knives.

Wow, just finished sharpening 18 hunting, pocket, and kitchen knives. The owner is a hunter and true knife collector, with everything from Cutco cutlery, to Schade and Kershaw pocket knives, to custom made Damascus hunting knives. Feeling really honored to work on such a great collection for the 2nd or 3rd time over the past few years. Years ago, this collector brought me an old Bayonet knife made from a military sword from the early 1900's and used in both WWI and WWII. Wish now I had taken some photo's to share with everyone. Oh well, next time I will.
