Quick tip for all W-2 paid employees in Washington State!!

There is a brand new payroll tax in WA state. It’s .58% for long term care for ALL W2 Employees. This .58% tax will be revisited every 2 years to make sure it’s enough, it will only pay for $36,500 in LTC benefits and you have to use a facility the government approves. WA is the only state to pass something like this. The only way around this new tax is to have a long term care policy in force by July. Then you can get apply for an exemption before the tax hits in Jan. The younger you are, and the more money you make, the worse this tax will be for you.
