Sentosa Golf Club named 'The World's Best Golf Club'!

Last night the Club was recognized as ‘The World’s Best Golf Club’ and the iconic Serapong Course retained its accolade as ‘Singapore’s Best Golf Course’ at the 6th annual World Golf Awards in Abu Dhabi.

We are truly humbled by the recognition. It is testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire SGC team that maintain high-quality standards at the Club every day and the pioneering environmental sustainability efforts through our movement, which allows the Club to play a pivotal role in strengthening Singapore’s position as a hub for international tourism and showcasing the city’s worldwide appeal!

Visited Discovery Bay this week to check the progress of the construction. After a couple days of rain we were able to get out and get some work done.

Ran across town to visit Clearwater Bay. Got to see some great new improvements they are making to the practice range as well as the work we completed last year on the golf academy (6-hole par 3 course, driving range tee, putting greens). We joined with the club in venturing into new territory by building the tees, greens, green surrounds, and bunkers out of synthetic turf. They play just like real turf and the maintenance costs are near zero. Great project and enjoyed catching up with old friends!

First visit back to Hong Kong this year to review upcoming work and see last year's work maturing. Looking forward to getting started on the next phase later this year.
