For many of us home is just a home and a place of work is a dreadful place where one has to be in order to earn a living. I believe that good interior design can change these attitudes. Passion and creativity can transform our environments into exciting spaces with unlimited possibilities. A good design can alter people's behavior and color can create a mood just like certain music does. I tend to gravitate towards those notions and try to evoke 'music' and harmony through my work
Update: thank you all for voting! The wood-stained island won by a comfortable margin.
One interesting pattern I noticed: those who lean toward a more contemporary aesthetic tended to prefer Option A, while those who appreciate transitional and traditional design were more likely to choose Option B with the wood island. There is no wrong answer!
