Stacy’s Story:
Stacy arrived to her new family, from Retalhuleu, Guatemala on this day, May 6, 1987 when she was almost 6 months old. Her mom and dad had three boys and wanted to add a baby girl to the family. Stacy was very lucky with the life that she was given. She was and still very loved to this day. So much so, her brother Keith worried about her coming in a banana box after mom showed him a banana sticker from a single banana and said, “This is where your baby sister is coming from” He ran off to play, came back a little bit concerned and said, “Mom, are they going to poke holes in the box so she can breath?” Its definitely a joke to this day! The picture on the left is of her and her brother Keith, (before this picture was taken, Stacy was crying, she was set on Keith’s lap and they’ve been best friends ever since) The picture on the right is the night before bed with her mom, Madelyn, holding her. Stacy was a little spoiled the first night. She clutched onto her mom’s night gown as she slept the whole night through.
