Messiah St. Charles

It can be hard to give up control, but God knows what is best for us. Even when prayers seem unanswered, God is working out the ultimate good!

It was a busy Sunday! We started the first service with a baptism (Pastor Ryan's first at Messiah!). Later that service we commissioned our Poland-bound mission trip participants. At the 10:30 service, seven students were confirmed into their faith in Jesus. Plus, Pastor Jim taught on the "Ask, Seek, Knock" passage in the Sermon on the Mount. What a great way to begin a new week.

Did we accurately use the modern language of emojis to convey the Golden Rule? 🤔 How would you improve upon this attempt?

Tomorrow Pastor Jim is teaching on the verses that contain this famous saying. Did you know it was in the Sermon on the Mount? Does it mean what you think it means? Why is Messiah asking so many questions?

We'll answer some of these in worship.

It is on. The Messiah Hot Dog League "Eat Your Age" Challenge is happening again and we have the photos to prove it. Just look at these future champions downing double dogs and relishing every bite. They're all smiles (for now).
