Every year, State Road Elementary PTSA has a special event to celebrate our 5th Graders before they head off to middle school. This year we organized a foam party and it was a total BLAST of “good, clean fun”! 🫧🫧🫧 Check out some photos and videos below!

🌟 We Need You! 🌟

The State Road PTSA is in need of new co-chairs for the upcoming school year, and we would love to welcome new volunteers into this important role! The current co-chairs will assist you in this role over the next year.

The PTSA plays a huge part in creating the fun, supportive, and connected school community our children enjoy:
from family events and teacher support to fundraising and grade-level programs. None of it happens without caring parents and guardians stepping up to help lead the way!

You do not need to have previous PTSA experience to volunteer! If you are organized, have ideas to share, or simply want to make a positive impact at our school, this could be a wonderful opportunity!

Why consider volunteering?
• Build connections with families and staff
• Have a voice in school events and activities
• Help create memorable experiences for students
• Make a meaningful difference in our school community
• Set a great example of involvement and leadership for our kids

You won’t be doing it alone! As mentioned above, there is support, guidance, and a team ready to help make the transition smooth.

Last week, we said “Thanks a Lotto!” with a casino-themed TEACHER AND STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK! ♥️♣️🎰♦️♠️

With the help from several generous parents and PTSA volunteers, we were able to provide a “token” of our appreciation each day for 100+ staff members at State Road, including:

⚜️coffee and pastries
⚜️swag bags filled with treats and gift cards
⚜️new books, bookmarks, and tote bags
⚜️new indoor recess toys and games
⚜️pizza, salad, and cookies
⚜️even a day off from teaching on Friday! 😉

Special thanks to: Caraglio’s and Rhino’s Pizza, Alani/Celsius, our Amazon wish list purchasers and toy donors, the creative “décor” team, and every family member that took the time to give their teacher a “shout out” 🌟
