A finalist performance we won’t forget.

Lilah’s performance of “Disneyland” from Smile during the New York City Bound finals was filled with honesty, vulnerability, and heart from beginning to end. Written by the legendary Marvin Hamlisch, this song gave Lilah the chance to showcase not only her voice, but her storytelling and artistry as a performer. She laid 👏 it 👏 all 👏 out there.

Top 11 out of nearly 200 applicants. An incredible accomplishment for an incredible student. 💙💛

After multiple late-night rehearsals leading up to the competition, Lilah, Brody, and Rory took the stage tonight as part of the opening number for New York City Bound. We’re so proud of the hard work, professionalism, and heart they brought to this experience.

No matter what round you make it to, opportunities like this are what theatre is all about : growing as performers, supporting each other, and getting to share the stage with incredibly talented students from across the region.

Way to represent Warrior Theatre with pride. 💛💙

Tonight was ‘s New York City Bound competition, and we could not be more proud of our Warriors.

Out of nearly 200 students who applied, Lilah made it all the way to the FINAL round, finishing as one of the Top 11 performers in the entire competition. What an incredible accomplishment. While she didn’t take home the final title, she absolutely left her heart and soul on that stage, especially during her final performance of “Disneyland” from the musical Smile. We are beyond proud of the artistry, vulnerability, and passion she brought to every moment tonight.

The best part? We still get one more year with her, as she’s only a junior. 💙💛

We also want to recognize Brody and Rory, who represented Schroeder with so much class and heart tonight. Even after not advancing to the Top 20 round, they were backstage cheering everyone on and supporting their peers every step of the way. Brody even started an epic musical theatre sing along backstage as the kids waited for their results. That kind of kindness, sportsmanship, and love for theatre is exactly what being in our program is all about.

Congratulations to Lilah, Rory, and Brody on an incredible night at the RBTL Stars of Tomorrow preliminary judging! 🌟

Tonight, these three talented performers represented Webster Schroeder in front of acting extraordinaire and Broadway star , and they made Schroeder PROUD. 💙💛

Now we wait until Thursday night to find out if any of our students advance into the Top 20 and earns a chance to compete in front of a live audience to become Rochester’s next representative heading to New York City!
