Hello Friends,
It has been a few weeks since I posted an update. Thank you for all your support of Chris and his family during this challenging time. Your generosity is so much appreciated. Both financially and emotionally we have made a huge positive difference to Chris and his family.
If you are not aware, in May Chris was diagnosed with a rare form of eye cancer and went in for surgery in the beginning of June. The surgery was successful and he was declared cancer free. Chris has limited vision in his one eye and follow-up surgeries are planned for October and January. Chris was able to recover at home and he had a wonderful visit with his granddaughter Sylvie.
Starting in July, Chris was able to teach summer school and will resume regular paychecks. As we transition into August, I have decided to take down the GoFundMe and merchandise as we have successfully met our goal with the fundraiser. The special edition of his new book, The Ghost Boy of Erie Hall, will remain available until the end of August.
There is some exciting news on the horizon regarding the Erie Hall haunting and Chris is determined to be at paranormal and book signing events in the fall. Please continue to send prayers of healing and positive energy his way.

Like many of you, I have enjoyed his public appearances, presentations, as well as the conversations that I have had with him. I believe Chris when he shares his reflections on the experiences inside of Erie Hall, and I believe in him as a person. I have seen him light up a room with his passion for life, and have witnessed his sense of humor bring smiles to even the saddest of faces.

It is with great concern that I share with you that Chris was recently diagnosed with a rare form of retinal cancer. He will be undergoing multiple surgeries during the week of June 1st at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. His spirits are high (as you might expect) and he is prepared to win this fight!
But he and his family will be facing many challenges: physical, emotional, and financial. That is why, as his publisher and his friend, I have decided to make his book – The Ghost Boy of Erie Hall – which had been scheduled for an October release (in conjunction with the upcoming mini-series) available immediately!
