Story time in Pre-K is more than just reading a book 📚
It builds language and early literacy skills, helps children learn to listen and focus, encourages imagination, and teaches important social-emotional lessons. These moments help prepare our Pre-K friends for kindergarten and a lifelong love of reading 💙 Miss Megan & Miss Hailey. 🫶

Circle time folders keep Pre-K children engaged by providing hands-on activities that help them learn about weather, seasons, the date, months, the year, and emotions, while encouraging focus and active participation during group time. Only at Kids First!

We are excited to share photos of our Webster Pediatric Dentist visiting our Pre-K classroom today for a brief educational visit.
During this visit, the dental team will talk with the children about:
Proper tooth brushing
Healthy dental habits
The importance of taking care of their teeth.

Today in our Toddler 1 classroom , we are introducing crayons as a fun way to explore colors and practice early fine motor skills. Children will be encouraged to grasp, scribble, and create freely while building hand strength, coordination, and self-expression in a safe, supervised setting. Great job Miss Nijah, Miss Ja'kiya🫶

Our toddler classroom centers support learning through play every day. From blocks and dramatic play to art, sensory, and books, each center helps build motor skills, language, social-emotional growth, and independence in fun, hands-on ways. 🧸📚🎨 Busy day for our toddler 3 class.

Pre-K 1 had fun creating trees using tissue paper and construction paper 🌳 This hands-on activity helped build fine motor skills, creativity, and color recognition while learning about nature and seasons. Kudos to Miss Rhylee🫶
