14U finished their season today at 9-1. The girls showed tremendous growth this season, and had a great time doing it. We were missing some for the season finale picture, including Coach Leo - Congrats, ladies!

We had the honor of witnessing two absolute legends throw out our first pitches tonight. These ladies were such a huge part of both Lassie League and Oxford history and we are so thankful for the path they helped pave for girls softball 🧡🥎🖤 Thank you, Ms Shirley & Ms Jo-Ann!

Shout out to 12U’s Sophia Nolle, who hit her first inside-the-parker last night in Auburn! Thank you to our friends in Auburn for hosting, and sharing the video feed! Well done, #51 - here’s to many more!

Congrats to 14U’s Cora Motrucinski, who put her first one out tonight! She hit a laser to left for a 3 run shot to power Webster to the win. Today was the 2 year anniversary of the loss of our little brother AJ, and these girls were not going to lose this game. Cora went 2-2 including this bomb, Caraline Lambert struck 7 out in 3.2 innings, and big sister Bella Congdon took care of business behind the plate for the whole game. Well done ladies, and congrats to Cora!

There is some great softball action both nationally and locally right now! The College World Series is happening, we have plenty of girls starting the MIAA playoffs locally, including Bay Path, Shepherd Hill and Auburn, and a 12U tournament this weekend, and 14U next weekend! It’s a great opportunity for girls and families of all ages to catch some great games! Good luck to all!

Our final award for Slugfest is Scarlett Blouin, bringing in $475 for our league and earning the Top Fundraiser award! Thank you and congrats!!

Shout out to Sofia ‘Lefty’ Lambert for her 14U pitching debut, throwing 4K in 2 innings for the squad! Shoutout as well to Avianna Vega, who also threw an inning plus, and through 4 games this season is batting 1.000. Great job to the whole crew!
