GAP Garner Afterschool Program

🔍🕵️‍♀️ The GAP CTE Summer Camp students have been putting their forensic science skills to the test this week! This morning, they stepped into our Escape Room challenge and worked together to crack the case. It was exciting to see them use the skills they’ve been learning in this challenge. They have the best time so far! Great job, students! 👏🔎🇺🇸

Our Summer GAP students are lucky to be greeted each day with delicious, nutritious meals thanks to these two fabulous ladies!

From breakfast to lunch, they make sure our students are well-fed and ready for a day full of learning, exploring, and fun. Their work behind the scenes often goes unnoticed, but it makes a tremendous difference in the lives of our students every single day.

🎬 While exploring the West Region of the United States this week, it was only fitting that we spent some time learning about the world of movies and entertainment!

Our students had an incredible field trip to Capernaum Studios, where they got a behind-the-scenes look at a real sound stage and learned how film productions are brought to life. Afterward, the fun continued at Film Alley, where students enjoyed a movie, bowling, arcade games, and time with friends.

It was a fantastic day! 🇺🇸

🤠🐂 GAP students had a great day at the Fort Worth Stockyards!

Today, our GAP Road Trip took us to one of Texas' most iconic destinations—the Fort Worth Stockyards! Students had the opportunity to experience a piece of Texas history while exploring the sights, sounds, and traditions of the Old West.

From seeing the famous longhorn cattle to learning about the cattle drives that helped shape Texas, our students enjoyed a hands-on look at the culture and heritage that make our state so unique.
