God saw u getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around u and whispered come with me. With tearful eyes we watched and we saw u pass away. Although we love u dearly, we could not make u stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he, only takes the BEST. Our doors are officially closed until further notice. Our bank account is in the red and we have no interested adopters for our 400 animals. Next week we are going to start making very hard decisions to euthanize those that require more resources than others and are completely unadoptable. Our beauties like Tellayi have been with us for ages now, but we cannot get any actual interest in adoption. KSAR has joined the ranks of every other rescue this year in simply overflowing. We are sorry to close our doors and hate what next week brings. But there is no longer a choice.

One week ago, our Mission Possible flight landed. It has been a busy but incredible week filled with heartwarming reunions and lots of puppy kisses and cat cuddles. We couldn't have done it without every one who assisted us along the way.
