WEATHERFORD COMANCHEROS RIDING CLUB

Hello guys & girls…. Weatherford Comancheros Riding Club is going to have a playday Saturday, August 8th @ Noon… I know it will be warm, BUT we have plenty of amazing trees to hide under and a large tree to stand under before your ride. It just gets hotter and hotter as the day goes on and we are amazing at making things happen and getting you out of there before it gets too bad.

We have a welcoming restroom with A/C in it which enables you to pull your britches back up, girls IFKYK… and a concession stand with all the best fixins… The ladies try to make sure there are plenty of summer friendly foods, like cold watermelon slices and perfect popsicles along with the world famous Chicken Salad Sandwiches. But don’t worry, they can still whip up burgers/nachos and walking taco’s for those that still love that perfect comfort food. Plenty of summer fare to get you through the day.

All the information should be on the flyer, and I can’t even begin to imagine that weather could or would be an issue… Our bunch is a seriously laid back group of individuals that are always ready with a friendly hello and any help that you might need. If you are looking for a relaxed, “well run and organized bunch”, then come on out. Playday’s shouldn’t take 16 hours to run. Ours don’t!!!

I forgot to post this.... I want to thank my "every time partner in crime", Ms. Misty Brown for meeting me at the arena last week and getting all the mowing done. For those of you that believe we are mowing dirt, you would be very shocked at all the grass that continues to grow out there... Hopefully the mowing season is about to be done so we won't have to get out there as often as we have been. Hopefully we will see everyone at the playday this Saturday... See you all soon....

AASP&RC Finals 2026 is a wrap and WCRC folks definitely stepped up! Good job to everyone that took part in some way. Some rode, some helped, and some supported and EVERY ONE OF YOU made the week a success!!

Hello to all my horsey people. Weatherford Comancheros Riding Club will be having a “Getting ready for finals playday” Saturday, June 13th @ NOON. Everyone is welcome… This isn’t a “district” or a “qualifier”, this is just an open playday with the events that those riding up at finals next week will have to endure. Come on out and play with us. We have plenty of trees to park under and stay out of the sun, we have airconditioned restrooms so you can pull your britches back up, IYKYK…. Check the flyer for the events and the address. We always have an amazing concession with great food served up, just the way you like it. We have a huge 150 x 300 outdoor arena and take great pride in making sure that it is the surest footing around. We love having new people and we strive to ensure everyone has a fun time doing what we all enjoy, riding..

We keep things moving so you can make plans for later that evening, so no worries about that.
