After I sketched a house design I found a real house that was almost identical. I was driving down a Lakeside road and out of the corner of my eye caught my attention and I recognize the house even though I had never seen it before and then I realized it looked like the house I designed, so I had to stop and take pictures. It was surreal to see something so similar to what I had made be out in the world and standing. There were a few differences like the garage, I decided to do a detached garage but this house had it integrated. And my Portico had a bay entry door but this house has a brick facade portico with another small portico entry in the bottom right. I also had brick columns supporting the portico. They both are two story, and have a central portico with hips and ridge, a brick facade, stone quoins from top to bottom, and circle vents in each gable end or tympanum.
