Some tattoos take you right back to being a kid, and this custom Power Rangers piece does exactly that. ⚡️

Bold color, classic characters, and a whole lot of nostalgia came together to create something that's as fun as it is meaningful. Because the best tattoos aren't just art—they're a way to carry the stories, memories, and moments that shaped us.

The infinity symbol reminds us that love, growth, and the things that matter most don't have an ending. Paired with the lotus flower—a timeless symbol of resilience and transformation—this piece tells a story of rising above life's challenges and becoming something even more beautiful because of them.

And can we talk about Brooklynn's line work? Those crisp, intentional lines are a testament to the patience, precision, and care she pours into every tattoo she creates.

Beautiful meaning. Beautiful craftsmanship. Built to last a lifetime.

If you ask someone what a tattoo shop does, the answer seems obvious.

"We tattoo people."

And, technically, that's true.

But at Old Souls Ink, we've learned that what we're really in the business of is serving people.

The tattoos are simply the medium.

Every day, people walk through our doors carrying stories that we may only get a glimpse of. Some are celebrating the birth of a child or the love of a spouse. Some are honoring a parent, sibling, or friend they've lost. Some are marking a military career, a recovery journey, a victory over cancer, or a season of life they never thought they'd survive.

Others simply want a beautiful piece of art because life is worth celebrating.

Whatever the reason, every person who sits in one of our chairs trusts us with something deeply personal. They aren't just asking for ink on their skin. They're asking us to help tell their story.

That responsibility isn't something we take lightly.

We've built Old Souls Ink around the idea that people matter more than transactions. In a world that often feels rushed and impersonal, we want our studio to feel different.

We want you to be greeted when you walk in.

We want you to feel comfortable asking questions.

We want you to know that your concerns are valid, whether it's your first tattoo or your fiftieth.

We want parents bringing in their child for a first ear piercing to feel at ease.

We want someone coming in for a memorial tattoo to know that we understand the weight of the moment.

We want every person who leaves our studio to feel like they were cared for, not simply served.

The truth is, anyone can learn to tattoo skin.

The harder part is learning to care about the human being attached to it.

As a business owner, I've realized that our mission isn't really about creating the most tattoos or chasing the latest trends. It's not about collecting awards or accolades. Those things have never been the goal.

The goal is to build a place where excellence and compassion coexist.

A place where our artists can use the gifts God gave them to create meaningful art.

A place where conversations happen naturally, friendships are formed, and healing sometimes takes place in unexpected ways.

A place where people feel safe.

I believe God calls us to serve wherever He's planted us. For some people, that's a church. For others, it's a classroom, a hospital, a construction site, or a family farm.

For us, it's a tattoo studio.

Colossians 3:23 says,

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men."

That verse has become a quiet cornerstone for how we operate Old Souls Ink.

It reminds us that every piercing, every tattoo, every consultation, every phone call, every social media message, and every interaction matters.

Because serving people well is part of serving God well.

The tattoos we create will last a lifetime.

But I hope what people remember even more is how they felt when they were here.

I hope they remember being treated with kindness.

I hope they remember being listened to.

I hope they remember laughter, encouragement, and feeling welcomed exactly as they were.

At the end of the day, we're not just tattooing skin.

We're honoring stories.

We're building relationships.

We're serving our community.

And we're grateful that God has allowed us to do all of that through a business called Old Souls Ink.

Mandala tattoos leave no room for shortcuts. Every line, every curve, and every tiny detail has to be intentional because precision is what brings the entire design to life. Paige's steady hand and attention to detail truly shine in this piece, creating a tattoo that's as clean as it is beautiful.

People ask me all the time, "What makes Old Souls Ink different?"

I've thought about that question a lot, and the truth is... it's not one big thing. It's a hundred little decisions we make every single day.

🖤 We believe tattoos, piercings, and permanent jewelry should mean something. Whether it's your first tattoo, your fifteenth, your child's first ear piercing, or a bracelet marking a milestone, we know these moments become part of your story. We don't take that responsibility lightly.

🖤 We believe people deserve to be seen. Around here, you're not just another appointment on the schedule. We want you to feel welcomed, heard, and valued from the moment you walk through our doors.

🖤 We believe in surrounding ourselves with talented people who genuinely care about their craft. Every artist and team member brings their own unique gifts, and we work hard to connect you with the person who can best bring your vision to life.

🖤 We believe cleanliness, safety, and professionalism are non-negotiable. We hold ourselves to a standard we'd expect for our own families because that's simply the right thing to do.

🖤 We believe a business should leave its community better than it found it. Supporting local events, serving Veterans, offering free 3D ar**la tattooing for breast cancer survivors, and finding ways to give back aren't marketing ideas to us. They're opportunities to love our neighbors well.

🖤 We don't chase trends, and we don't chase shortcuts. We'd rather build relationships than transactions and create work that still means something decades from now.

And maybe the biggest difference of all...

🖤 We don't chase awards or accolades.

Don't get me wrong—we're grateful for every kind word, every review, every recommendation, and every person who chooses us. But those things were never the mission.

Old Souls Ink was built on faith, hard work, and a whole lot of prayer. We've always believed that if we honor God, serve people with integrity, and pursue excellence in everything we do, the rest will take care of itself.

The Bible says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." That's the standard we're chasing.

Our reward is found in knowing we've treated people well, created something meaningful, supported our community, and hopefully left someone's day a little better than we found it.

At the end of the day, people matter more than profits. Character matters more than popularity. Serving others matters more than being seen.

That's the heart behind Old Souls Ink.

If you've been thinking about getting a tattoo, a piercing, or a piece of permanent jewelry, we'd be honored to earn your trust and become a small part of your story.

Come by and see what we're all about.

We think you'll feel the difference. 🤍

This whimsical little fox and ladybug by Brooklynn is a reminder that art can be playful, colorful, and full of personality. Sometimes a tattoo tells a deep story, and sometimes it's simply a celebration of the things that bring us joy—and there's beauty in both.

Amazing work by Brooklynn, bringing a little extra magic into the world, one tattoo at a time. 🖤
