Here is the update I was excited to share!

At Rombi AR’s first ever eventing show she placed first overall last weekend in Michigan!! Today she competed in the YEH Qualifier in Kentucky and placed third overall!

She is truly on her way to greatness and hoping at her next qualifying event she gets the score needed to go to the YEH Championship in October! She was 2.7 points shy of qualifying but seeing as this is her second eventing show — and did not only dressage, but also show jumping/cross country all in one day…. I’m so incredibly proud to say that we made this horse.

Huge thank you and appreciation to her amazing team of owners and trainers who are bringing her along so amazingly.

Guess I’m into eventing now 😂😂

Meet Trofie AR aka Snoop
Born 4/20/2024

A well balanced c**t looking for a new home, preferably to a future professional home. Great personality, stands relatively well for farrier and amazing balance in stride and scored an❗️8❗️ in both type and confirmation during his Westfalen inspection! Branded and lifetime USEF included, wanting to move by the time he is ready to wean (10/20). Eating grain and hay on his own, a bit of a lead foot on the lead rope but still learning - has had hands on him since birth.

Pictured below is the man himself, Sire, Dam, and full sibling who was fourth in the nation in 2021 for KWPN jumper falls. And also went premium in her mare book inspection with Westfalen this year.

Low Fives, but open to offers. We are a small breeding program and a good (preferably long term not resale) home is what we look for over the money. Located in Weatherford, TX.

After a host site dropped out, our Westfalen NA inspection ended up being yesterday at our home! Bit of a scramble to get braided and train up the husband to help be a handler BUT we had a great showing.

Unfortunately only one picture from the cause it was a bit hectic with Baby horses, our baby human and such - but I did snap a picture of OUR FIRST EVER HOMEBRED PREMIUM MARE, Rombi AR. This means so much as a breeder just starting out, im so proud of our mares and our babies.

Trofie AR (aka Snoop) scored amazingly well too! He was in a bit of an awkward growing phase but the judges were incredibly impressed!

Baby in a wheelbarrow, Rombi watching on, me in the ring handling mare and spicy baby, impromptu home inspection happening - all after getting home as a family at 3am from a flight/family wedding and week away from the ranch.

Because life 🤷‍♀️😂

Because family photos aren’t complete without at least one of our horses ❤️ and of course Momma Tink nailed it ✨🤌🏼🫡

This right here is just one of the reasons we love Hallway Feeds. Their privately owned mill makes exclusively horse feed and the quality is bar none.

So very devastating for this Ranch who lost 70 head of Horse due to feed contamination. This ranch has been in business since 1923 and lost five generations of breeding and bloodlines and hard work.

Dozens of rodeo horses are dead after their treating veterinarian says they consumed feed that may have been tainted with monensin.

"Much is known about what has happened here that cannot yet be told," the veterinarian said. "But the bottom line on this story is that it’s an important one to tell, so this never happens to anyone else. I will say this: Never buy horse feed from a mill that makes cattle feed. Period. Please quote me on that. Every horse that ate this feed is dead."
