CONSIGNMENT FAQ’S

• Our percentage is Seller-60/GFA-40 for all consignors.
• If you have a lot of items (clearing out your storage, basement, second home, warehouse, etc.) o We have consignment appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 11am, 1pm & 3pm. We also have availabilities for Friday and Saturday at 10am. o Smaller, one box loads are welcome most times depending on our availab

ility. o Please note: We do not offer pick-up or delivery services. We do have phone numbers for individuals and companies in case you are in need of these services.
• All items that are accepted will be wiped down and MINOR damage may be repaired. Any item that requires undue time to clean, or requires further repair may be charged an associated fee. CLOTHING

• Premier: Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Cartier, Gucci, Tory Burch, St. John, DVF & Eileen Fisher, Tiffany, Fendi, Prada, Manolo Blahnik, etc.
• Contemporary/Bridge Brands: Adidas, Ivy Park, Talbots, J. Jill, Chico’s, Ralph Lauren, Coach, Michael Kors, Nicole Miller, Inoah, Patagonia, UGG, Birkenstock, Kate Spade New York, Oakley, Ray-Ban, Sarah Jessica Parker, Dooney & Bourke and more! o **We do not accept store-brand clothing**
• Men’s clothing: we accept suits, blazers, higher-end button-up shirts, and higher-end active wear, such as Columbia, Eddie Bauer, Tommy Bahama, etc. o Please note: We do not accept men’s or women’s jeans, t-shirts, “everyday” button-up shirts, or tennis shoes/sneakers.
• We accept vintage clothing in excellent condition. These items will be inspected by one of our team members who will determine if your piece is a good fit for our shop.
• All items must be complete (no missing buttons or elements); label attached, clean, wrinkle-free, no rips, stains, or odors. Generally, all items should be current (within the past two years). OTHER ITEMS

• Antique and vintage clocks and watches (i.e. mechanical) do not necessarily have to be in working order, but they should be in good repair with no missing elements. o Quartz clocks and watches must work with power applied. If batteries are needed, we do carry a variety of batteries to test a wide range of needs. o A replacement fee will be applied for watch and specialty batteries.
• Vintage and collectible children’s items and toys. (GI Joe, TMNT, Pokémon, etc.) All pieces should be clean, with no damage. o Certain vintage/collectable items or sets may still be sellable even if not complete. Please inquire to see if your item may fall into this category. This specifically applies to toys and collectibles. o Please note: We do not accept children’s clothing or contemporary furniture or items.
• All tableware and drinkware sets must have a complete setting for no less than four (4), with no chips, cracks, or crazing. o Items that are uniquely sold in pairs may be accepted depending on the item.
• China sets and crystal drinkware may be broken up into smaller sets, determined on a case-by-case basis. o We may sell individual pieces as replacement pieces.
• Jewelry: While we will look at almost anything brought in, our focus is on vintage, antique, and higher-end pieces. This includes certain costume jewelry and real gemstone jewelry. We may also carry loose stones. o Please note: Price Point - due to the volume of jewelry that is brought to us, any jewelry that we are not able to price at least $15 will be returned.
• Art: All art should be accompanied by as much information about the piece as possible. Antique art will be assessed by a team member to determine if it is a good fit for our shop. o Please note: Price Point - due to the volume of art that is brought to us, any art that we are not able to price at least $40 will be returned.
• Linens & Bedding: To help manage our bedding section, all linens should be thread count 300 or greater. o We do not accept used lines or towels. Either should be included as a set, new in the package. o Sheet sets should be new in the package. o We do accept single comforters and comforter sets. Any sham sets will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
• All furniture should be in good repair, with no obvious repairs or damage, and ready for the sales floor.
• All rugs and carpets must be free of stains, pet hair, or any powder residue. o Please Note: We are overly picky about floor coverings. Any items that show signs of staining or powder will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made for these items. ITEMS WE DO NOT ACCEPT

• We do not accept outdated electronics (televisions, radios, printers, etc.) o We do accept current , new, in-the-box, electronics provided it is still in the original packing and has the manufacture seal in place. Our staff will review each item on a case-by-case basis.
• We do not accept regular pillows, air mattresses, regular mattresses, or box springs. o We do not accept powered or adjustable bed frames. o Futons and hide-away beds may be accepted on a case-by-case basis provided they are in excellent condition. Our staff will review each item on a case-by-case basis.
• We do not accept undergarments, new or otherwise (underpants, brassieres, socks, or bathing suits). ITEMS WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT

• We are unable to accept powered exercise equipment (bikes, elliptical machines, treadmills, etc.)
• We are unable to accept large appliances (refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer, etc.) FINAL NOTES

• If you have a large collection, anything over 20 of similar items, please contact us before you bring it in. We have very limited space for such collections and only accept them as space becomes available. o Please note: any large collection that is accepted will be boxed and sold as a lot.
• We do not accept dirty or broken items, items in need of repair, or incomplete items. o Incomplete sets may be accepted depending on what is missing. o Items that have been previously repaired will be inspected by one of our team members. o In the unusual situation that a “in need of” item is accepted, there will be a repair/cleaning fee assessed to that item.
• All items will be inspected and if we feel that a piece is not a good fit for our shop, or does not meet the stated criteria will be held for 30 days for your pick up. After 30 days all items will be donated or disposed of in a proper manner at the discretion of Girl Friday Consignment.
