I admit I did not watch or listen to a single NY Knicks playoff game. I was scared I would jinx their chances of winning. Was I right? 🤣
Context - The last time I thought the Knicks would win a championship, I was in the Mediterranean sitting on the mess decks of the USS Thomas S. Gates (CG-51) listening to the game through the ship's sound powered phone speaker in the wee hours of the morning hearing the AFRTS broadcasts say "Starks misses" a bazillion times.

To all our followers, we want to let you know that closing down in July is not meant to be the end of our journey.
We made the decision to stop baking in order to figure out what we actually have procured over the last year, safely pack everything, and reduce the chances of our Bagel Baker breaking anything during the move.

Oh what fun! We just realized that many replies are not being posted to the original post. Why?
TIL: Facebook now arbitrarily and automatically sends random comments to us as a DM. Ugh!!
PLEASE bring back BBS! We don't mind 75 baud modems as long as the software doesn't magically change. 🤣
We gave it our bestest shot including offering a complimentary cup of coffee, but Monday (and previously Thursday) is not a viable day of operation for our little shop: less than 15 tickets in four hours. We'll need to go back to just Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in our current location.
It's all good!
We understand that with limited seating, lack of A/C, and the need to come into the shop for food that we had an uphill climb. Also, we have not been able to nudge the local residents to drive past the force field at the Sheetz traffic light*.
We will be posting our updated hours shortly.
* Context - For a year, we have been told by many people that they don't "go that far" outside of Waynesboro for anything. Our shop is far away". Who knew? 🤣🤣🤣

Off the Rails will be departing our current location on 7/19/26. We have reached a point where we need to find a space that is designed for our baking environment. According to the investors, our journey is not over.
