📊 Time vs Round Heatmap

This heatmap shows what time of day runs are typically made throughout an event.

The dark red areas show the most common time for each round, making it easy to see the general progression of a race day as rounds move later into the evening.

What's interesting is looking at the edges of the heatmap:

• The yellow areas to the left are likely smaller local races that move through rounds more quickly.
• The yellow areas stretching farther to the right are likely larger events and big money races that take longer to complete each round.
• You can even see some late-round runs happening in the morning hours. That's probably from races that were called for the night and finished the next day.

It's a cool visualization of how different race formats and event sizes affect the flow of a race weekend.

A few hotspots don't quite fit the expected pattern, likely due to ticket scanning errors and uncorrected data.

Lance Tyler Howdyshell delivered a strong all around performance, racing deep in both classes at Mason Dixon Dragway. He lost at seven cars in Footbrake and came back to seal the deal with a win in Super Pro.
